Meet Marcus Tucker
For more than twenty five years, Marcus Tucker has served the people of Chatham County with integrity, professionalism, and respect for the rule of law. His legal career includes defense work, prosecution, private practice, and civil matters, giving him a well rounded understanding of the courtroom and the impact judicial decisions have on people’s lives.
Born in Dublin, Georgia, Marcus Tucker’s path has been shaped by discipline, service, and excellence. A graduate of Morehouse College and Howard University School of Law, he carries forward a commitment to justice, ethical responsibility, and service to community. These values continue to guide his professional judgment and approach to the law.
As an attorney, Marcus has handled cases ranging from serious felonies to misdemeanors, applying careful analysis, sound judgment, and respect for due process. His experience on both sides of the courtroom allows him to approach each case with balance and perspective.
Marcus Tucker seeks to bring experience, steady leadership, and fairness to the Recorder’s Court. Guided by the law and informed by decades of courtroom experience, he is committed to ensuring justice is administered with integrity and respect for the people of Chatham County.
